Kay graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1985 and has practised law in Nova Scotia since 1986. In the early 1990’s she began to practise only family law.
Although she represents married and common law couples throughout Nova Scotia in Court, she strongly believes court should be the last resort if possible and works with her clients to negotiate creative settlements using other methods such as collaborative law and mediation.
The Participation Agreement includes a commitment not to begin a court proceeding.
